I originally went to the race-track not because I had any intention to gamble, but because a friend who was working as a groom at the racetrack and wanted me to meet the horse by the name of "Totally Ruthless", took me there.
I was fascinated with the atmosphere. My first visit there made me feel as if I just stepped into a fairy-tale - the lights, sounds, smell and the overall energy of excitement were unlike anything I have ever experienced before and as you may guess - the moment I'd show up there, I'd be in a trance state.
I'd get the thrill just from hearing or reading the names of the horses "No Sex Please", "Overnight with You", "Cinnamon Toasted'. At first, I didn't bet. I merely went there to soak up the atmosphere, to experience the delightful trance. I'd tune into the horses in an attempt to feel what they were feeling before they began racing. And I watched how they behaved before they were racing. I promptly discovered that when a horse seemed to be in good condition and eager to race, his tail went up. I guess it was like turning on a propeller to help him charge forward.

After I learned how to read the stats and previous performances, and used only those to figure out the winning horses, my winning guesses were on decline. I do recommend reading stats for the general idea of past performances both of the horses and the jockey or driver in harness racing. Both the skill and the weight of jockey / driver will have some impact. But no matter how great past performances and how suitable jokey / driver is, if the horse is not feeling well or is not in mood to race - he ain't gonna win. Sometimes horses get injured during training. So, I have personally found it very helpful observing the horses just before the race. I also like to go to the racetracks where I can get as close to the horses as possible.
Stats can be particularly helpful in races where one or two horses have clearly much better performances than the rest of them. With other races, beside observing the behavior of the horses, what can help you tremendously is developing your intuition and getting the information about the winning horse from your all-knowing mind through your subconscious.
This has worked for me in very amusing ways. Sometimes, when it was time to bet, I'd even hear a song playing in my had which had words related to the name of the horse. Intuitive information can come to you in infinite number of ways - you may see an image, hear a sound, feel some particular sensation or even something outside of you that relates to the winning horse will catch your attention.
Win at Horse-Races CDs are designed to make you consciously aware of all that you need to know to pick the winning horses in the races you are betting on, to access intuitive knowledge as well as to program your subconscious for winning while betting either on standardbred or thoroughbred horses.
