Timelessness

Anything that has form exists in time and space. It has beginning and an end. It is therefore called "transient". Attachment to these "transient" things brings pain and suffering because as much as their appearance can bring joy and happiness, their absence brings sorrow. And even the presence of those joyful things can bring inner turmoil and conflict when you take sides with one manifested thing as opposed to another. All the tension in life occurs from the charge between two or more seemingly separate things - things that have form.

If you think of something that has form now and imagine how it was 100 or 1000 or 100,000 years ago or how it will be in 100, 1000 or 100,000 years into the future or go further back into the past or into the future - eventually you will come to the point where such a thing didn't or won't exist any more. If you think about anything in this place where you are sitting now and travel back in time in your mind, all of those things will begin to dissolve into nothingness one by one and so will any tension that you experience related to those things.

Whenever you are facing some challenge that is causing you great anxiety or worry, you can think about it in terms of eternity and sort out in your mind and heart that which is truly meaningful to you from that which is meaningless.

Practicing the experience of timelessness reduces stress and tension in your life. It also brings you close to that experience of Oneness and Peace because when you allow everything to dissolve (at least temporarily) from your awareness, the only thing that remains is you - and a sense of oneness - nothing else left to cause you any anguish. It is a wonderful way to take a mental vacation from all problems you may be experiencing. It is also a wonderful way to allow any solutions to problems you may have to emerge into your conscious awareness because there is nothing cluttering your mind and obstructing the emergence of solutions into your conscious awareness.

In this state of timelessness, you can allow all the inharmonies to dissolve from your being and you can re-create your life the way you'd like to experience it - knowing that your external experiences are only projections from your mind.

In this process of experiencing timelessness, as you let tensions dissolve from your mind, they will also dissolve from your body and if your body requires healing, you may experience your body healing naturally and spontaneously simply because there is nothing left to obstruct the free flow of life-force, the free flow of energy in your body.
