How to Choose HYPNOSIS CDs which are right for you?
Hypnosis recordings work in conjunction with all the material which already exists in your subconscious mind - with your beliefs, with your worldview, with your inner motivations and with your expectations.
In that respect it really doesn't matter what anyone else has or has not achieved with hypnosis or what anyone else believes or doesn't believe even possible to achieve - unless that other person has exactly the same mind-set, exactly the same material in his subconscious as you do, exactly the same worldview, beliefs, past experiences, inner motivations and expectations.
On this website, you will find a wide range of hypnosis recordings. Some may fit within your worldview, some may seem impossible. You should skip those that seem impossible until you have the worldview and beliefs where such things are not only possible, but are possible for you to accomplish.
I would like you to keep in mind that hypnosis, subliminal, supraliminal and supraliminal plus recordings are tools - much like books or other learning tools, and much like fitness equipment at the gym. They are designed to make the accomplishment of your goals easier and sometimes seemingly effortless.
Hypnosis, or using your mind power, is just a skill. Just like any other skill, you develop it by using it and by doing a little bit more with it every day - by exercising it - by experimenting - by today today a little bit more than you could do yesterday. There is no end to what you can accomplish with your mind because the entire universe and everything that you can behold is mind-like in nature. If there is one single idea that will sky-rocket your progress using your mind-power it is this "the universe is mind-like in nature". That is not the idea most of us grew up with, so we have to make our own experiments - first some small ones and then move toward more challenging ones until we learn through our own experience that it is so.
When you went to school and learned math or foreign languages, you began learning some simple things. To someone at the university level these simple things may look laughable, but to someone just beginning - every bit of progress is a major achievement. There is a huge difference between what you can do with 10 numbers (0 - 9) in the first grade of elementary school and after you're done with math at the university level. And so it is with hypnosis - though learning how to use your mind power has nothing to do with any universities - it has to do with how far do you really want to go, how much you desire to explore your mind-power and what you can do with it, and how open are you to allow miracles into your life.
We have all been using some form of hypnosis our entire lives - so the question is never "are you hypnotizable?" All of those beliefs and ideas that are hidden in your subconscious mind got in there via one or another form of hypnosis. No one may have dangled a watch in front of you, or told you "go to sleep" or "you are hypnotized" now - you merely engaged your imagination and emotions in some way every day of your life and impressed all those ideas upon your subconscious. Sometimes other people said or did things that stimulated your imagination and your emotions and left you with a gift - even if they never called themselves "hypnotists".
What you may or may not have done before is use your mind-power intentionally to create desired outcomes in your life. Maybe you made some attempts on your own or with another hypnotist and got some fabulous results, or maybe what you tried didn't work out as you intended - and if you're not sure what factors help you to get desired results and what prevent you from getting them - feel free to subscribe to Deep Trance Now newsletter and read previous hypnosis newsletter articles. You may learn a lot. There is a good explanation for everything.
Whatever skill we ever desire to master, we can only begin learning from the point where we are. If you've never ever even attempted self-hypnosis, I suggest that you subscribe to Deep Trance Now newsletter and download "Introduction to Hypnosis" and "Experiencing Hypnosis" recordings. They are both free.
Few RULES about choosing the right goals and corresponding HYPNOSIS CDs
If you do have some experience with self-hypnosis, the first rule in choosing the recording to work with should be that it fits your worldview and your belief system. In other words, pick a goal (and a relevant hypnosis recording) that you believe possible for you to accomplish.
The second rule is - pick a goal (and a relevant hypnosis recording) that you genuinely desire to accomplish - first and foremost because you want it and not because someone else thinks that you should go for it or because you think your life will be better if you can impress other people with your newly developed skills. Listen to your heart. What is it that you truly desire? What is it that you truly believe will increase the quality of your life? If you are concerned about other people's opinion - then just remember that you can make other people feel good in a way that makes you feel good about yourself, but you are here to grow and unfold in your own way, not necessarily in a way that someone else thinks you should be or live. Honor yourself, your dreams and your heart's desires.
If you truly, genuinely, desire something - CONGRUENTLY - wholeheartedly - and you allow it into your experience, you can have it. By congruently, I mean - there is absolutely nothing in you that objects to having that desire filled - you want it, you know that it is good, and you have absolutely no worries, fears or anxieties about having that desire filled - your whole being is in agreement that the desire is good now and you accept to have it filled now (without any if's and but's).
Few RECOMMENDATIONS about working with different goals and HYPNOSIS CDs
People sometimes wonder if it's better to work only with one hypnosis recording or if they can work with several different recordings at the same time. The general recommendation is that you can work with several different recordings if they are all taking you in the same direction - if they all relate to each other and are merely different aspects of the same goal.
If you are working with recordings that are designed to teach you new skills which do not relate to each other or if you are working on changing long-standing habits - it is generally recommended that you work on one thing at a time (the easier or more urgent one first) - unless you happen to be one of those people who enjoys multi-tasking and likes to work with many different things at the same time.
Some goals and recordings complement and reinforce each other - they are, in effect, branches of one, unifying, major goal and in that respect, even though there are different hypnosis recordings listed in the Spiritual section - they are all just different aspects of one goal - Self-Realization (or God-Realization - whichever term you prefer).
Some other goals and recordings that complement each other deal with general development of mental abilities - some may be for the purpose of learning (Accelerated Learning, Focus and Concentration, Memory), some may be for the purpose of healing (Accelerated Healing, Pain Management, Change Your Body), etc.
You'll also find some general types of recordings that go with any other recording - Deep Relaxation, Stress Management, Super Mind series, New History Generator, Breaking Free from Limitations, Love, etc.
